In the world of counter top surfaces there are so many choices it can feel overwhelming. Not only are their a multitude of natural stone options, but now a days there are more and more engineered stone options.
Engineered stone is usually made from crushed quartz that is bonded with acrylic resin to make a non-porous, seamless, sealeant-free surface. The disadvantages to natural stone surfaces are many and have caused a lot of consumers to look for alternatives that don't suffer from these drawbacks. Mostly people don't won't to worry about damaging their surface or having to deal with long-term upkeep.
