Granite vs. Quartz
Finding the Right Countertop for your Home Project
Cambria
Cambria is producer of natural and engineered stone. According to Popular Mechanics: the process of creating the countertops is different than granite, in that it is an engineered product, consisting of about 90% quartz and 10% epoxy binder. Cambria uses a slighlty different formula from the standard 93% quartz 7% binder. They also choose to use an epoxy binder oppose to the more commonly used resin binder. Cambria offers their engineered quartz product in 2cm, 3cm and 4cm thicknesses. Cambria also has a perodical named "Cambria Style" that showcases the brands products as well as offers advice and help to both homeowners and installers.
More captivating than other quartz counters, more durable than granite, Cambria creates unique surfaces with the true elegance you demand of natural stone, and the hard-working performance your everyday life requires.
